Well, voting in NYS was tons of fun this morning. WuFlu regs were nuts. 6 feet apart outside was enforced (there was a line this morning), but inside it was a joke. Folks were signed in with some new gizmatrons that were side by side and when you signed in you were within six feet of volunteers who sat side by side...
You signed in with popsicle sticks, BTW, that should make voter signature verification q jokw...
The stations to fill in your ballots were not six feet apart.
Then when I inserted my ballot into the machine, the volunteer told me my ballot was counted when it hadn’t yet been. I waited til it was and told her that. She did the same thing to my hubby, who also told her he’d wait til it registered. That took a few seconds per ballot.
Then when you left you were within six feet of people entering.
