I thought exactly the same thing. Toying with the idea of getting a single malt, but then decided, nope, not gonna do it.

If he seals it tonight, or it looks inevitable, I'll run out tomorrow and get a bottle of Ardbeg.

A better idea might have been to get the single malt for if he wins, and a bottle of Inver House for if he loses. :-)
