Does this mean that the wireless and wired connections have been physically removed from all devices or just disabled?

All wireless technology is removed if it has it. Or the machines purchased do not have it. I was in charge of inspecting and setting up all the hardware last election.

Can't say about Darth (I do not control the Force) but in Minnesota, we are using a LAN (local area network) with proprietary software on single purpose computers.

These are just for voter verification/registration.

Voting is manual and ballots are fed into a stand-alone counter under strict supervision.

Totals are physically transferred by two people, one from each major party to the courthouse for final tabulation.

It would be difficult to cheat the system electronically - it would require crooked people.
