Researchers at Stanford University believe President Donald Trump's re-election campaign rallies — which are not socially distanced and mask wearing is sporadic — are responsible for 30,000 COVID-19 cases and 700 deaths across the country.

Only contact tracing could prove or disprove this thesis. They used 18 counties......but how many counties did Trump have rallies in....far more. So they cherry picked the data.

Take my county, Erie, PA. Most of the cases are in Erie proper. Few folks in Erie attended the rally vs those of us who live in the rural areas. ( Erie County gets real rural, real fast. ) There would also have been a large contingent of folks from NE Ohio there and Western NY.

I don’t think so, but we also know the Sturgis motorcycle rally killed hundreds.

Consider the source of this nugget of factoid data. If Trump Rallies are, as implied, “super-spreaders” of COVID-19 Wuhan virus, then the San Francisco Chronicle is a super-spreader of disinformation.

Correlation does not imply causation.

Imagine how much worse the spread of the virus would have been if the huge democrat armies
of maskless rioters, looters, arsonists and killers didn't have guaranteed immunity from infection?

I noticed this too at the rally I went to—I’m in my early 50s and I seemed to be the oldest person there!

Lots of young people at these rallies. Which is great—the future of the GOP.

I never liked that slogan or Patrick Henry’s version, “Give me liberty or give me death!”

I prefer something like “Leave me free or I kill you!”

“Get busy living or get busy dying.”

I’ve been saying that to everyone I discuss this with. Good ol’ Andy Dufrane!

“Yet, no one mentions the hundreds/thousands of rioters on the streets of dem/soc/commie controlled cities that happen every night.”

You’d think every “scientist” in the world would be studying the incredible “fact” that not a single case of Covid infection/death was caused by the rioters/looters/peaceful protesters.

LOL...they try so hard. Do they guess there are still people out there thinking about voting for Trump but haven’t been hammered in the head enough for the last 8 months about his handling? It is laughable.

Scott Adam’s made a good point about this study, it has not been peer reviewed, which challenges the validity.

Researchers at Stanford University believe...

And some people “believe” in the Easter Bunny and Santa Claus.

I attended both his Orange County Rallies in CA back in 2016 when he was just one of the GOP Candidates.

They were low key compared to what we are seeing today.

After the first one I ordered my “TRUMP 45” Vanity License Plates from the DMV to put on my Car.

Moved out of CA last year bit I still have the Plates.
