I’ve been turning off Fox and Friends all week for the same reason.
Polls!
Polls!
Polls!
Polls!
Polls!
In case the don’t remember, their polls suck and were 100% wrong last time (and I didn’t need a poll to tell me that). They’ll FULLY aware that many Republicans are not responding to pollsters or hanging up on them, and they NEVER wonder why their polls seem oddly in variance with the explosions of support we’re seeing for Trump across the country with no corresponding support for Biden (just the opposite). So I can only conclude that the memo has come down to go with their propaganda. I’m surprised Tucker’s playing into this crap, too. I thought he was more of straight-shooter than that.
I believe that too.
The networks attitude seems to be "yes the polls didn't get it right in '16. But there's no way they can be wrong again!"
In fairness to Tucker, he showed clips of the spontaneous Trump parades and asked some poll expert to explain the enthusiasm discrepancy. The only explanation the expert said was maybe, possibly the Trump voters aren't telling the pollsters the truth. (Duh.)
