Sadly, you’re right. They are consumed with their hatred, like the Hitler they profess to hate. I am off Facebook and Instagram because they can’t even argue intellectually but sound like there’s not an ounce of brain or heart left in them. I hope you are right on all your points. But hope in one hand. Gun in the other. Plan for either eventuality.
It’s always a threat, so its best to settle in an ares where there is a strong rural presence; an area where folks pump their own water and raise some of their food. Don’t know where your kids settled, but Boise e.g. has Boise State Univ. Where there is a university in the general vicinity, there will be trouble. Even Salt Lake is a mess.

If you are on the edge, have a fall back position. Someplace where you are known but not a “carpetbagger”.
Tuesday night till who knows when, be prepared for a lock down. Many states are going to do a “COVID” lock down after next week. Rumors of as early as Tuesday prior to the vote.
Figure out what your local authorities are going to do. Who will they protect, whom they will arrest, and who will they let be destroyed. DO NOT ASSUME YOUR PRO POLICE FLAG IS GOING TO PROTECT YOU. If your LEO’s are following orders to let you get burned out of your home, yet go attack people who defend themselves, plan on what you will do.
By this time, it is to late to prep. The storm is on the horizon. If all goes well, Tuesday night will be calm and no matter what, we will be peaceful. However don’t bet on it.
