My son did two tours in Bosnia.

My oldest cousin was posted there with the “Blue Helmets” ie: Nato: = Canada. Most of his time was taken up digging up mass graves and delivering the contents to their respective owners, Serbian or Bosnian.

They could never get the stench out the APC’s they used.

They also played tag with the bridge Franz Josef was shot on in Sarajevo while Serbs took potshots at them until their CO found out and made them stop.
