IIRC Federal law makes it legal for members of Congress to make person financial moves...buying stock for example...after getting sensitive info that "ordinary" people aren't privy to.

So if Bella Pelosi learns through her work that Boeing is about to get a huge DoD contract she can buy their stock before the contract is announced...reaping a huge profit.

But even if that kind of thing ain't illegal it sure as hell ain't moral.
