I Agree, he should send in Social Workers to have a dialogue with the peaceful protesters.
........and some of those “injured” officers are waaayyyy more than just “injured”. I understand one “injured” officer lost his sight!
..................here’s a compromise with the liberal, marxist governors and mayors...........”ok, we will LIMIT our KIA’s in any one night to ten”....................
I would bet there would be no riots or looting after that edict was announced. If there was, blast away!
[I would bet there would be no riots or looting after that edict was announced. If there was, blast away!]
Tell me why we had a massive crime spike in the 60s? The economy was booming — and those were real jobs back then. There was no fake pandemic. Yet crime exploded. Why? Because of political leniency.
Blacks and other criminals may be stupid, but they know perfectly well when The Man is tacitly signaling “it’s go time.” Crime explodes when politicians and their media enablers let it explode. We know this. We also know how it’s stopped: by tightening up.
Despite all the “no more lead exposure” crackpots and whatever else people claim lowered crime, the fact is that Giuliani made historical improvements on crime rates because the police were told (i.e. allowed) to do their job and criminals were held accountable. And the Mayor supported the police, unlike DeBlasio who openly supports criminals. People forget how in the 70s and 80s there were NYC judges famous for letting criminals walk — Turn ‘Em Loose Bruce Wright for one. And now we have New York with its “no bail” rules. Huh, criminals are set free every day and crime goes up. But WHAT could possibly be the connection? Must be racism.
Oh and broken windows policing? Probably the last 20 or so young blacks I’ve seen enter the subway have blatantly not paid the fare. They have no fear of getting stopped. They also don’t wear masks — no fear of breaking those rules either. You don’t enforce the rules, people stop following them.
It’s really that simple. The 90s turn toward the Giuliani-style approach made crime drop all over. But now we’ve cycled back again. It’s Mayor Lindsey time all across America. The late, great radio host Bob Grant nicknamed Lindsey “the tower of jelly.” We now have towers of jelly running cities and states all across America, only now they are even more radical than in the 60s.
Of all the problems troubling the nation, crime is one of the easiest to fix.]
good comments!
Will the city mayor order the police to resist the PA national guard and protect the ‘peaceful’ rioters?
What he better realize is that his base will just skip voting this year, mainly because of the riots and partly because of COVID-19. I suspect the DEMs will be able to vote for these people, but that's a lot of voter fraud.
