Not gonna happen for the simple reason that Massachusetts has a Republican governor who, presumably, would name a Republican to replace her in the senate.

Well, one would hope. But, I wouldn’t trust a Massachusetts Governor Republican or not. And, god forbid, if the Democrats should take the senate majority it won’t be by more than one or two seats. So, that will have a lot of weight on her being given a cabinet position..
