Twitter suspended U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Commissioner Mark Morgan for a post celebrating the success of the U.S. southern border wall keeping violent criminals from reaching American communities.
According to screenshots shared exclusively with The Federalist, Twitter locked Morgans account Wednesday afternoon for apparently violating platform rules governing hateful conduct after the commissioner attempted to tweet about the walls benefits.

I don’t like twits.
Censorship is repugnant and has no place in a free society.
He was unsuspended after people actually noticed.
Tucker Carlson interviewed him last night.
If even CNN is reporting it, it’s not “EXCLUSIVE”.

In the very earliest day of telephones, way back when, subscribers to one company's service could not call people with other company's service. Eventually the companies worked out a way to interconnect. BUT, we don't think anything of the FCC regulating phone companies and their services.
Not that long ago, if I had a cell phone from one company I could switch to another, but my phone number stayed with the original provider for reassignment to someone else. The phone companies loved this -- you were locked in no matter how crappy the service. They didn't change to the current model of taking your number with you until the government told them they had to. Suddenly, it could be done in less than one day. This is the kind of regulation we need.
This is the example to follow. Step one is to start treating them as publishers.
Is burning books much different than removing or blocking internet content?
Agreed, or at least allow lawsuits.
After more WINNING next week we need to immediately hold feet to fire. Section 230 needs to be REPEALED and lawsuits commenced. Justice Thomas recently laid out a game plan for lawsuits.
Best thing to do is repeal Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act. That section immunizes social media companies from lawsuits for defamation, etc., based on things users posted. Eliminate that...and they’d be crippled by private sector lawsuits.
Twitter isn’t the government, they don’t need to follow the First Amendment.
I’m celebrating as Twitter just lost $756 million in net value.
Tweex are for kids.
