I’m sure they have been doing that for a while now. They’d probly kill to have pete buttigieg right now. homosexual or not
He would probably inspire Bernie Sanders' base to vote while holding on to party loyalists (think Joe Biden's camp). But right now Bernie Sanders' base are not motivated to turn out and I'll think it'll hurt. Especially with many college campuses being shut down so it would be difficult to drive young voters to the ballot.
