You mean when a couple of governors ran all over California and New York beefing every business they could find to relocate to Texas? The damned idiot is the classic capitalist who sells the rope intended to hang him with. Perry did more than anyone to destroy Texas.
I grew up 14 miles from Rick Perry. Knew his father and know his mother. Rick solidified the Republican Control of Texas.
(Rick’s family has been in this county slightly longer than mine, mine has been here since 1889. The county was cut up in 1885.)
He was not a perfect governor, but he did get results. Give him credit where it is due.
