I’m sick and tired of conservatives bitching about Facebook and Twitter. Stop using their platforms then, or go out and build something better.

This is why they feel they can get away with it. we have many in congress that feels the same way you do.
However, you are missing the main point. They were able to build a monopoly on the premise of free speech. Do you think they would have become anywhere near this big, if they started out banning and blocking conservatives?
It is only when they achieved this monopoly, did they start blocking and banning.
Monopiles are illegal under most circumstance, and this is the reason for it.
And it’s not about wanting to address conservatives on twitter, etc., it’s about 1) not allowing blatant lies and distortions to go unanswered (tacit conservative approval) in these popular media, 2) trying to reach the uneducated libs and independents using the media with the truth and alternate viewpoints, and 3) giving our elected conservatives the equal chance to present information and opinions to the unwashed masses, since the mainstream audio, video, and print media will not allow it.
We can go into a private conservative room behind a paywall and scream at each other all day long (Echo Chamber), and it won’t help.
I’m sick and tired of hearing people make that silly suggestion. Get real.
