I wasn’t clear that I was referring to the substantial financial assets of the church in Salt Lake City. How much is invested in China and how much China is partnering with LDS investments in the U.S.

Not sure why Flake is so hostile toward DJT. maybe Mitt is planning a campaign in ‘24, at age 77.

I also find it surprising that one of the 6 juniors have run for office

Sorry for the lack of response. I was going through my ping folder and back through what Elsie had pinged me on and found your response, which is nowhere to be found in my ping file.

To my knowledge that has never happened, but then how would I know if someone responded and I wasn’t notified? Maybe I have become too dependent on the FR notification system.

Any experience like that from your view?

Anyway I have no idea what the Church is invested in from a Stock Market standpoint. I do know they invest in land and cattle. The Church owns a number of large cattle ranches in NE FL and I believe MT. Every church and Temple is on land owned by the Church.

Former Senator Flake showed his true colours and figured out real quick that AZ was going to can his self serving self righteous rear end. He and some other notable LDS folks elected to the Congress are not the majority of LDS who believe as I that President Trump is truly a gift from God.

Temporary as that gift may be. Perhaps the President serves as a reminder of the God we profess to love need to worship, and who provides our daily bread, and the freedom we enjoy for as long as He mercifully allows us to remain free.

We the People have an interesting way of showing our love of God by the blatant disregard for his commandments. This is a generality not aimed at anyone, but it is pretty obvious that as a nation, our direction is not headed for heaven, but the opposite direction.

I think this way, primarily from viewing what the Congress and the courts have done by way of laws, related to prayer in schools, buggery, because at the moment I can’t think of the proper English word for it, marriage as God ordained, not to mention pro-choice legislation, that gives infinite choice to a woman to kill what’s in her womb, rather than the recognition, that the aborting bitch has blown at least a half dozen other BAD choices before she reaches the final bad choice to abort her baby.

IMHO Roe v Wade alone puts us in danger of being in the same boat as Sodom and Gomorrah if not for the tender mercies of a loving God till at least he has had it with the old world and the woes prophesied prior to the millennium begin to come to pass. Oh, Sodomy, the law that had the death penalty attached to it for literally centuries until the Texas decision brought the change needed to put a light at the end of the LGBTQ tunnel.

...and while I finish this post, the entire country and our freedom is being threatened by the same folks all in for Biden and the democrats to ruin what’s left of the Founding Father’s dream.
