I still haven’t seen a dead body lying by the side of the street. I haven’t seen any ambulances going around the neighborhoods with sirens on, or sirens off for that matter. I know lots of people, literally hundreds through my work, and none of them has had covid. The only people who thought they had covid early on tested negative. Nobody I know has ever called in sick due to covid.
We all have to take our temperature at the door to work, and nobody in the last 4 months has measured a temperature of even 100 degrees. They are always getting 96.9 and sometimes as much as 98.7, but mostly they are in the high 97’s.
Now there are those of us who believe the whole thing is a scam so people can get extra time away from work to goof off. But the people who shut down our restaurants and schools are going to argue that because of all the lockdowns and mask wearing, we have had a lot fewer deaths than we would have if we didn’t do anything. I think it is quite an advantage for them to be able to claim that because I think it is total bu!!$#it, but I don’t have anything to use to argue against it.
Nor have we seen the corpse-loaded pushcarts with the cries of "Bring out your dead"!
