Yep. And there’s more, too. FCPS had not one but TWO hacking incidents, one exposed all their student disciplinary records, and the second one all the teachers’ SSNs and other personal data.

And then there’s the Ibrahim Kendi/Critical Race Theory scandal (FCPS paid him $20k for 90 min of BS).

And then there’s the TJ High School admissions scandal which is quickly radicalizing Asians towards the GOP.

Fairfax Dems got too cocky and too radical and the blowback is in progress. They’re stunned and making all the wrong moves.

VA GOP is rising like a phoenix from its own ashes. Too bad you’ll miss all the fun.

What a great short heartening post.

We could use another ten thousand like you!

Mike is hilarious. That was a parody campaign and he pulled it off like a master - watch it again, now that you know this, and you’ll see just how funny it all was.

There’s more material on those lines where he plays an exaggerated caricature of a Dem during that campaign.

I’ve always wondered why, after the first time that happened where the lefty counties delayed until they could report last, that the repubs didn’t buy a clue and make up any excuse to delay reporting until the big lefty counties reported.

And maybe look around in some of their closets and car trunks for uncounted ballots while they were at it.

When you’re in a war - and we are, with the commies - if you play by ‘rules’ when the enemy doesn’t, you’re probably going to lose, which is what happens every time. The repubies seem to be stuck on stupid.

Yes the TJ High school admissions scandal made the news all the way out here too. Like Styvesant in NY, and Lowell High in SF, these schools will all go down the toilet and Asian parents should be hopping mad. TJ HS was the best HS in the nation.

Asians really should vote more. I learned here that apparently Asians don’t vote much because they don’t want to be called for jury duty. Makes sense, in a way.

Glad Fairfax Dems might get some blowback. Hope our CA teachers unions will too. A lot of eyes are opening. Teachers don’t give a CRAP about public school students, K-12 and college alike.

Have you ever been to Northern Virginia? I live here. Virginia is turning into not only Democrat-dominated, but hyper-partisan Democrat-dominated. I’ve worked in black neighborhoods of Boston in the 90s, and let me tell you, I never saw 1/10th the hatred for not only Republicans but for traditional America in general. And this is Fairfax County (which is to Virginia what Chicago is to Illinois), which used to red territory!

I would be far less surprised to see Massachusetts vote for Trump than Virginia.

I’m in. Start shopping. I don’t care about the color, but I want my own captain’s chair - I refuse to be stuck on a bench seat.

The GOP is out of touch with the average American and worker. That is the core problem. It will always just be an extension of the Chamber of Commerce.

If you can’t see the extreme, existential change that President Trump has brought to the GOP regarding the “working man” then you haven’t been following the news or more importantly, his rallies.

POTUS has CHANGED the face of, the policy of, the reputation of the old GOP, hopefully forever, I hope.

This man eats, lives and breaths the WORKING MAN, MAN.

Pay attention to the changes in thinking of so many people, who up until President Trump were incapable of getting on our side.

There are many, many surprises in the news, for the better.

I have never felt so optimistic, but thanks to a Business Man from Queens, we are revived.

Regards, from VA.

So, who is paying attention to Mitch McConnell?

The only good thing he did was to get Barrett through.

Seriously, what influence does HE have with us.

Lived in Alexandria and Springfield, worked as an election official and volunteered for GOP campaigns in the same areas. So yeah.

I saw/heard those exact same arguments in 2014 when 95% of FR said there was NO WAY Ed Gillespie had a prayer against Warner. Ed lost by 0.8 points.

I think Trump is an underdog in VA, but not by much. And that’s only because (to my knowledge) he hasn’t made a real investment in the state. If he had, I am confident he would win. If he comes up short, I predict it will be just barely. But I am optimistic! We’ll reconvene in a week.
