I am both elderly and immuno-compromised, and I never wear a mask unless forced. Neither do any of the other geezers who frequent the grill for breakfast.
It used to be “settled science” that ordinary masks didn’t impede the transmission of viri. Now, suddenly, they do. Whiskey tango foxtrot, Oscar?
Statistically, I am at risk from influenza, pneumonia—the whole laundry list. But wait: flu is down by 98% this year. What’s up with that? Couldn’t be that a bunch of the reported “covid” deaths are actually the flu?
Couldn’t be that this whole covid scamdemic is just a leftwad plot, could it?
I don’t know what will finally take me out, probably in the fairly near future, but I hope it will have something to do with defending the constitution against domestic enemies.

No, because flu cases outside of flu season (which typically ends in March) drop to single digits over the summer for the entire United States. And that "98%" is misleading as well. The 2019-2020 flu season started earlier than usual. If you compare the 2020-2021 flu season to the previous 5 years, we're seeing normal flu activity for this time of year. Last I checked, 121 confirmed flu cases so far since the end of September, ramping up in the past two weeks as expected.
