Once I see that it’s safe I will get the vaccine. My choice. Vaccines should always be a choice.

Normally I don’t even get a Flu shot. I don’t like to put foreign chemicals into my body.

Also, I have to travel internationally. If a vaccine would help me get the documents to enter (and I think it’s safe) I’m going to take it.

I am neither an anti-vaxxer nor one who believes vaccines should be mandated. Heck, I’m against fluoride being dumped into out drinking water.

Not sure what anti-vaxxer really means but I do know what vaccine mandates are and I’m totally against that.

Perhaps that makes me an anti-vaxxer. Not sure. In America I have that choice to be against vaccine mandates.

Unfortunately, I do not have the same choices in other countries.

“When in Rome, do as the Romans do”

But if it’s not safe, don’t go to Italy :)

Once I see that it’s safe
I saw a TV drama as a teenager in which a protagonist declared, “One hundred percent safe - nothing is.”

If you knew it was 100% safe you wouldn’t even care if you were only 50% sure it was effective - what did you have to lose?
OTOH if you knew it was 100% effective, you would still have to sharpen your pencil to see if you thought that the risk it eliminates is worse than the risk that the vaccine might not be safe.

And reality will fall somewhere in between. You will not know that it is 100% safe, and you will not know that it is 100% effective. “You pays you money and you takes you choice.”

A kindergartener receives scant benefit even from a 100% effective vaccine, but a black octogenarian with heart trouble and diabetes certainly would benefit. Even if the risk of side effects was unacceptable for that kindergartener.
