I am forcing a vote tonight to adjourn the Senate until after the November election.
The GOP in the middle of a national election is using an illegitimate process to jam through a Supreme Court nominee to rip away health care from millions.
Democrats are fighting to stop it.
I have to go take a bath now....
It’s not illegitimate.
It’s all been done according to procedure.
He’s just mad and throwing a temper tantrum because he didn’t get his way.
Besides, they already voted to do it today. There’s no reason to wait. Matter of fact, doing what he suggests is the illegitimate way of handling it.

If Schumer does not have the votes to stop the confirmation, then he doesn’t have the votes to adjourn.

Don’t know if he has the votes. That may be why he was pushing Pence not to be there. Who knows? Guess we will know at 8:00.

He did that earlier too, the Friday before the Sunday cloture vote was taken. He went through the menu of non-debatable motions. Motion to adjourn has the highest priority. He also moved to recommit, and he moved to recess.
All three votes were taken roll call (under "move to table Schumer's motion), and all of Schumer's motions were defeated. Figure about 40 minutes per vote, maybe an hour. Pure theater and waste of time.

Trump was elected to BE President until his term expires. Presidents are NOT elected to serves as long as petulant democrats think they should serve.
