I have no idea why Republicans have not been making their own recordings of all interviews and press conferences for decades. They know that the MSM selectively edits video and quotes and have been doing it forever. But they seem surprised and helpless every time it happens.

It's only been fairly recently that hosting video on the White House web site has become viable.

Even without general hosting, recording everything would keep the press from doing things like mismatching questions and answers, chopping off full explanations before the end or even showing the interviewee sitting uncomfortably after a tough question when the "non-answer" was recorded before the interview started.

The media lies. We know it and it is easy to prove, but until now we've never taken the simple and obvious methods to prove it.
