Will be difficult, but job 2 is to make the media criminally liable for reporting a known falsehood. There has to be some way to prevent a constant flow of outright lies. I don’t know how you address purposeful omission of relevant and important facts except that this tactic is used to persuade the reader/ listener to a conclusion that is known to be false.

There should be citizen oversight of all government branches and agencies, and this has to go beyond voting, as even voting is manipulable - and is being manipulated.
The expansion of government into the multiple agency behemoth it now is, and the Civil Service Act that created lifelong government jobs have both created the ‘swamp’.
The Civil Service Act was supposed to stop government hires from being political or partisan. It was, IMHO, poorly thought out, and actually created an army of partisans all working in/for the government. If the Civil Service Act worked like they thought it would, why do we have such an overrepresentation of Democrats/liberals in government jobs? It's because those who introduced the Civil Service Act didn't consider that those who work in government will alway vote for the party that wants to sustain and expand big government. It was a big mistake.
Denise Turner Roth was an assistant city manager with an bachelors degree and Obama appointed her as head of the GSA ? How does that happen? She claims to have a “graduate diploma” but she got that for attending a 10 day executive training program. Amazing.
