Here is MY take on the polling companies:
They are being paid a massive amount of money to ‘sample’ the mood of the voters.
If they tell their clients right out of the gate the complete truth & it is NOT what that client will want to hear...the pollsters make up numbers.
As they get close & closer to the election, they have to keep up the CHARADE and they keep dancing around with their phrasing in their calls.
When it gets down to the wire, everything gets ‘tighter & tighter’...and they create ‘Plausible deniability’ about their failure to get the results right.
4 years later, it starts all over again.
Igt is a game of charades & Kubuki theater all at the same time-—and they get paid millions.....
What happened? Oh no, what happened??

Foreign Interference!

Scott Adams thinks its for fundraising purposes: people like to back a winner, so the polling is high for dems initially and then at the last minute tightens when money is not longer needed for the campaign.
