If you want to Drain the Swamp you need to prepare a loyal Shadow Government in the background ahead of time and then start rolling heads on Day One in office. Trump should have done this.

I had hoped that Trump would have rolled heads on day one, we didn’t know the depth or extent of the slime but we knew alot were bad apples. I was frustrated when he didn’t, guessing he wanted to get along, there’s plenty of time for all that.
I believe had he head rolled on day one, his resistance would be substantially less
