He was born in 1942 and as a child it would have been in the early 50s he remembered what a oil refinery was like. Does he not realize processes and tech have changed over the last 50+ years.

Maybe Biden is stuck in the 50s like many people. Probably many people here at FreeRepublic. My dad would tell me that he did many things that would get him arrested or never happen now if were to occur today. I kind of wonder what it would be like, but I am not sure I would be able to live in that world a long time.
Things are a lot better today than they were in the past. Some things have gotten worse. Overall I think the world is a much better place now.
