Hey bro.

I want you to go look for yourself.

See if you can find any polling for this debate. See if you can find any News Misleadia ‘mainstream’ commentary.

Very little.

Says it all.

Last time I was cited flash polls and I recommended waiting and, sure enough, Trump's position weakened after the last debate. The polls by the mainstream media might be corrupt but they do show trends.

I do not think that Trump's position will be weakened after this debate and I don't think we will ever know considering the developing corruption story and we will not know whether to attribute his rise and Biden's decline to the debate or to the corruption story.

Either way okay.

Another thought about the improvement in Trump's tone:

I believe a huge chunk of America, many many Democrats among them, were waiting and very eager to see the Donald Trump who presented himself tonight. These are people who agree with his policies, who don't like what they're seeing on the streets, and who want to know that they have a compassionate president.

In short, they wanted to see that it is okay, despite all of the attacks on Trump for the last four years, to vote for him.

They already know that Trump is a take charge guy, they wanted to know that he is a benign, avuncular figure as well as a man who "acts presidential." They want to like him but they have to see it. I think they did.
