Biden wants to shut down the carbon economy completely by 2050. As a mechanical engineer who has run the energy numbers, that is plain nuts.

I thought President Trump won the debate. His tone was calmer. He made substantive points, on his accomplishments and Biden’s failures. Biden did not come across well. I thought the moderator was relatively okay for a lib.

Trump won this debate, hands down.
He talks like a real person, and that exudes honesty.
Biden talks like a politician, and that exudes slimy used car salesman.
Trump also won on substance. Biden is all platitudes and generalities. Trump brought facts.
And the moderator did a decent job in spite of too much focus on race. That may be the biggest surprise of the night.

Well, the debate just ended. Both Melania and Mrs. Biden came up on stage to be with their husbands. I must say, Mr. Biden’s color coordinated dress and mask looked like the floor of a Roman vomitorium. Melania was total hotness in all black!

Overall, have to say that the moderator did a pretty good job. I’m surprised. I assume that the Left will now proceed to savage her. Format was pretty good.
Trump won that by at least as much as Pence beat that person who is Biden’s VP pick ... can’t quite remember who she is ...
Trump did fail to cite a chart or graph that got Biden to admit that Alger Hiss was a Soviet spy, Roe v. Wade is BS, and the Reagan tax cuts paid for themselves. So, I guess Trump lost.

Trump’s debate performance in the last 30 minutes was about the best I’ve ever seen him done. He landed a George Foreman overhand right with that mention of the ‘94 crime bill and was on offense for most of the rest of the night.
