Oddly enough, I find the map reassuring.
There are a lot more Trump supporters in my area than I ever thought there were.
I thought the same. I mean, this thing definitely needs to be brought down, but I thought it was fascinating to see how many Trump donors there are out there, even in some areas you wouldn’t expect. Then imagine how many more supporters there must be who just haven’t donated, and it is pretty stunning.
I have donated, but wasn’t on the map for some reason. My 85 year old dad’s house is there, however, which makes me furious (though he has more than enough armament and experience to defend himself).

The red dots are this year’s donations; the yellow dots are prior years’ donations, most from 2016. Unfortunately, in my area there are 3 times more yellow dots than red dots.
My name is not in the list, even if I donated to Trump in 2016 and 2020. But I see many neighbors in the map.
