I don't understand why, as part of the agreement to do an interview, the interviewee doesn't demand the complete unedited interview. As part of the deal, CBS, or whoever does the interview must post a $million bond, stipulating that if the interview has been edited in such a matter that is material deviance from the unedited version, the million dollars is forfeited.
I doubt anyone would go for it, but why not try?
