I watched a movie called Outpost the other day. It was about an indefensible military base in the Afghanistan mountains. The bast was at the bottom of a valley surrounded by mountains. The brass knew it would be impossible to defend. We lost at least 3 commanding officers there. They brought in a black officer who wouldn't go outside for any reason but to take a dump. He filled bottles with urine and had his men take the to the burn pit. When the base was under attack this officer wouldn't allow his men to shoot back because the enemy was behind cover. He brought up general Macrystal’s rules of engagement. It showed how ridiculous Macrystal and his rules of engagement were.
