Many "deep blue" states are like this. My home state of Connecticut is the same. There are large swaths of conservatives still here in Connecticut but we are wiped out by the urban areas of Bridgeport, New Haven, Hartford, Stamford, etc. In my part of Connecticut though, the suburban neighborhoods are still much as they were in the glory days (when CT was a Republican stronghold), with well kept lawns, clean streets and tons of American flags.

Reliable red states like TX and GA need to watch out for urban areas like Austin and Atlanta or they could turn blue as well.

The Republicans need to start making plays in these urban areas. If Trump did not make plays to the Hispanics and Blacks, he would not be on his way to re-election like he is today.

Not every eligible voter actually votes. I think there are voters who can be “charmed” into signing up to vote and can be “charmed” into hearing the MAGA message. After all it is everything that we grew up with, the things that are American is what we stand for. No foreign or crazy nonsensical ideologies. I think if you went door to door in your community there would be many new Republican voters. The Democrats have their big city “machines” so they can go door to door but we don’t have to have to wait for a machine we can be our own machines.
