You’re right - it was pretty close as that car turned the corner. I would think the cop could have seen it coming and moved forward some to give the driver more room.
We lived in OC for 50+ years and I was trying to place where the motorcade was - someone said they were turning off Newport Blvd., to maybe Jamboree to go to the airport. I could see Lido signs which would indicate they were near there. In past years Air Force One had to land at LAX and take Marine One to El Toro (closed now) and motorcade from there for appearances. Where does AF One land now? Hate to be out of the loop..
