Actually, I DO feel sorry for him. He was in that terrible car accident with his family. He got a fractured skull. Given the state of medical science in the 1970’s, it might have done something permanent that was not obvious at the time.

Hunter is going to be disappeared, maybe out of the country for rehab. If he is questioned, the idiot will spill the beans on everyone to save his bacon. Drug addicts have no control on what they will say next if put on the hot seat.

Never feel sorry for a junkie. It is what kills them in the end. An addict or an alcoholic feeds off sympathy. They use it as a means to manipulate others around them to get what they want.
