Agreed. In a relatively fair environment, I would say go for it. But there will be nothing fair about this town hall. Trump must need the appearance.
You’ll NEVER get Biden or Harris or any other democrat for that matter, to sit and take questions for an hour or two from a hostile crowd. Let’s face it Trump is fearless, sometimes a little bit too much so.
I think right now he is drawing a huge distinction between himself and Biden. Biden is too afraid to hold a real rally, Trump holds lots of huge rallies. Biden insists on softball pre-scripted questions, Trump takes on all comers. Like Trump said the other day, if you’re president you just can’t stay in your basement and ride things out, you have to go out among the people and that entails taking risks.
You are truly a sad and worried soul. Seek help...
Can they really be any worse than Chris Wallace?
How about criticizing others who are in agreement with me?
Because you constantly and consistently bring the gloom.
Criticize others here, or buzz off.
Ohhh yeaahh.
So is going to volunteer to watch Biden?
Yeah, but they'll all be watching Biden on that other channel.
Anyway, Trump can handle hostile questions much better than Biden can handle softballs. I believe Trump has a rally planned earlier that day. Busy guy! Lots of energy!
That’s a good one.
Obama.
So the Liberal anti-Trump debate commission demanded a virtual event to save Biden. Yet both candidates are doing live events. How does this make any sense?
Yes, especially since it was just Wallace he had to deal with. Now, it will be planted "voters", none of whom will support Trump (or maybe one leaning toward Trump just to make it "fair").
The voters will be “undecided voters” who have already voted early for Biden.
the nonpartisan Commission on Presidential Debate ...

Fact check false!
Really? Ya think that Trump doesn't know what he is getting into?
He is so used to being beat up, that this is just another 'day at the helicopter pad'.
Trump never cowers from a fight, regardless of how slanted the odds are.
Remember the debate with hillary, right after the billy 'grab'em by the pussy' tapes?
Trump comes in loaded for bear, not shrinking off into the night as so many of his "backers" did.
This scenario actually works better than a rally. The Trump campaign can spin it as the Town Hall Debate that Biden was too scared to attend.
"Face questions". An interrogation. "Participating". A cooperative effort.
Bias. The MSM can't stop displaying it.
At this juncture of the campaign, it's all about mass audiences and winning hearts and minds. Unlike his opponent, Trump is not afraid of walking into the lion's den. He's very good at handling hostile media and he'll shine on Thursday night for he's in rare form lately.
