No offense, but if someone wanted to retaliate against “the people who killed Bin Laden,” killing members of the same unit, in this case SEAL team, would seem to satisfy that desire, even if the exact individuals involved in the raid weren’t killed. Unless one is being purposefully obtuse.

I don’t know what has been claimed by the “whistleblower,” but the shootdown of Extortion 17, if done with insider knowledge, would, at least to me, be a pretty effective retaliation.
