“as polls have consistently shown him lagging behind Democratic rival Joe Biden” <-———— This is why they have Biden up my Eleventy Hundred Points on every poll, but they guy can’t fill a Starbucks in person.

I'm all for shutting down DC. It will make it easier for Trump to move entire departments closer to Americans. It's really unfair that the DC/VA/MD market has a monopoly on high paid government jobs. It's unproven that the best and brightest live, or want to live around the capital. Better the DoE is in the midwest, better HUD is centrally located around Missouri, better DoA is located in the midwest . . . .

If current employees don't want to relocate, many jobs would become available in the new zip code. But it is imperative the FedGov be decentralized so other states can reap the benefits of the ancillary businesses that spring up to support federal departments. Jobs like computer services, food services, office supplies, travel assistance, and many more, would all spring to support the new federal infraatructure.

but more importantly, lobbying would become more difficult, job-hopping would diminish, etc. The company town needs to be demolished.

Where we can, we need to be in the streets, on the highways

So, put the front bumper guard back on the pickup truck just before Halloween. Got it.

That is what needs to start happening; step onto a busy highway and become roadkill or stay off it and live. Your choice.
