When I read ‘civility’ I hear ‘cheese-eating, surrender monkey in my mind. My advice to quislings with the vapors is to fight for you rights or shut up and get out of the way.

This isn't about crumpets and tea. She's talking about actual civility: public manners. When that goes, fights and killings and tyranny are around the corner.

I was old enough in the 1960s to watch the hippies bring the nation from dressing weird and long hair, to in-your-face informality, to rudeness in the name of politics, to a violent crime explosion, to totalitarian violence--all in the space of less than a decade.

Lack of civility is a deliberate tool in the Communist playbook: Destroy the existing order through bizarre protest behavior whose real purpose is to destroy public manners, to create chaos; then erect your police state out of people's desperation for safety.

I look at it this way. Southern towns are notoriously polite. Civility is a sign that people are confident, relaxed, and armed.

Yep. I had a suburban mom tell me yesterday she was voting against Trump because character counts. After about choking on my G&T I raised the issue of Biden’s character. She had no clue what I was talking about. The corruption. The sexual deviance. None of it.
