Yes , turn out is always the key in any election and that's a fact. Another reality is only half the adults in this country are registered to vote and out of those registered only around 70% actually vote. so a hell of a lot of people out there are just not into politics and don't care.

Agree totally. My own 62 year old brother, a high school sports coach, living in Arizona for the last almost 40 years, has never voted, does not watch any news, nor listen to talk radio.

Kind of blows my mind actually. He just lives in a total world of sports and nothing more and there are millions of Americans just like him. SMH!
