A month ago I spent ten days with my 85 year old mother. Everyday we would go for a drive through western PA. Indiana, Westmoreland and Allegheny counties. After five days of this we drove from the Pittsburgh area to Richmond, VA then to WV and back to PA. I was astounded with the Trump signage. Keep in mind this area in PA has been the bull work of the Democratic Party for 100 years. Coal and Steel. Now replaced with Natural Gas.
The enthusiasm across the country is off the charts. The “Social” reaction of the electorate is what’s blocked out by the media. Just this indicator alone makes the polling a national joke. And they know it.
A couple Covid related items the Dem’s didn’t think of was shutting down all these colleges. These kids won’t be voting at campus. Thus, they probably won’t be voting much at all. Second, all the vans, buses and volunteers taking people to the polls will be limited at best. The Dem’s have convinced their constituents that they will die with Covid. They are going to die at the polls!
I live in rural, south western Virginia. This is NOT a “blue state”. It’s red throughout, just like American, with over populated cities on the coast and of course Richmond. That is where the “blues” live. Saddens me about my state, and concerns me for states like PA. The big cities where folks live in condos, apts., little houses up against one another, are quite liberal and can screw up a good thing.
One reason kids won’t be voting is that they view snail mail as horse and buggy and will not be using mail in ballots in large numbers.
Combine that with Democratic voter fear of Covid and an ancient senile candidate who is viewed as a joke by young people—and you get low Democratic turnout by younger voters.
