Excellent way to put it!
insouciance
That is for sure my new word I learned today.
HOPE & CHANGE
Hope was a 4-letter word coming out of that POS serial-lying PSYCHOPATHS MF’n mouth.

I recently had a similar argument with a affirmative-action loon—I asked him which structural engineer he would rather have to fix a bridge—a talented, well-qualified expert in structural engineering or someone who got the job because of their skin color, even if they are not so well qualified....
the argument can be used for countless different situations / industries.
Thanks for THAT information, wardaddy.

Best practices BUMP!
FReepers have good ideas. They think.
Not that rotten then.
Hey Johnny! You’re alright! (I hope this doesn’t tarnish your image).
ROFL MAO Thanks, Pontiac (never saw it before...only one I’m familiar with...”and it’s gone...next”)
It good to laugh. Lots more coming up in/on a Free Republic.
I think of the Progressives as Mindless Zombies like the homeless characters in this South Park cartoon asking for CHANGE.
My wife liken him to a turnaround CEO. No one likes the medicine, but you dont care, you want someone who can keep the ship afloat.
That loud clanging sound you hear is all those Antifa mix tapes hitting the garbage bin.
Boy you nalied it.
I think more than 50 percent of the country is still sane enough to see that.
Honest, I met Trump at Rockefeller Plaza and shook his hand and he was very nice and even in just saying “hello, how are you” to a stranger, one can pick up the sincerity or lack thereof in a person.
He seemed sincere to me. Glad to shake hands and nice to everyone.
And imagine the very definition of rebellious singers voting for Trump :)
Neil Young won’t be happy :)
Good.
“There’s a man there whose basically a real estate agent thinking he can buy the presidency,” John Lydon tells Christiane Amanpour. 5 years ago.
” What are you feelings about former President Barack Obama?”
J : “ Wonderful man. I love him very much as a human being.”
” Everyone in the world knows that’s ridiculous,” he says of Donald Trump. “I mean, this will be the first opportunity I get to vote after all these years. Wow! What a choice! I’ve always said politics is a fiasco and now more so than ever.
“You can’t ever think a businessman can replace a politician. It’s not a viable option. The whole concept of business is selfishness and greed, accumulating as much wealth for yourself as you possibly can. It’s no way to run a country. A country is not your private personal company. I think he’s oblivious to that. And he’s so aggressive; when he can’t deal with questions, he immediately resorts to insults.”
There’s plenty more ...He’s a chameleon and always has been .
Love it!!! He’s thinking for himself!
Sex Pistols—God Save the Queen
Wikipedia: “Johnny Rotten has explained the lyrics as follows: “You don’t write ‘God Save the Queen’ because you hate the English race. You write a song like that because you love them, and you’re fed up with them being mistreated.”He intended to evoke sympathy for the English working class and a general resentment towards the monarchy.”
Ramones
Joey Ramone—a lefty perhaps(”Bonzo Goes to Bitburg”)
Johnny Ramone—conservative
Wikipedia—”Johnny was known within the punk rock community as one of its few conservatives, and was a staunch supporter of the Republican Party. He made his political affiliation known to the world in 2002 when the Ramones were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. After thanking all who made the honor possibleclad in his trademark T-shirt, ripped blue jeans and leather jackethe said “God bless President Bush, and God bless America”. He said in an interview, when questioned on his conservatism, “I think Ronald Reagan was the best President of my lifetime.” This was evident when the band released the UK single “Bonzo Goes to Bitburg” in 1985; Johnny pressed for a name change, finding the title insulting to Reagan, and the song was retitled on American releases as “My Brain Is Hanging Upside Down (Bonzo Goes to Bitburg)” after a line from the song’s chorus. In this same interview he claimed that “Punk is right wing”.
“Johnny is quoted by The Observer as saying: “People drift towards liberalism at a young age, and I always hope they change when they see how the world really is.”

Eek. If that’s the best, I’ve been right to ignore them.
British people are allowed to vote in the United States?
