When the Soviets ruled both, the borders didn’t really matter.
But when the lines were drawn, war was ascertained. Just like the fall of the Ottoman’s and the lines in the middle east.
They’ll probably have to eventually relocate all the Armenians to Armenia. Or, have Azerbaijan cede the enclave to Armenia.
Neither of those seem likely, which means somebody will have to win a war.
Looks like it is still a stalemate. Both sides hold long term grudges. Armenians still hate turks.
As was the case when Tito ran Yugoslavia.
