You are skipping over the secession of state(s). Don’t skip that part. Red states break free of the blue states and install Trump as President. Preventing a war.
Preventing a war?
Blue states, on the coast, could set up a blockade that interferes with trade to/from red states. We could worry less about that if we were more autarkic, but that would virtually invite foreign powers into those blue states that border the red ones. Would be a war then, but not a civil war.
There is zero chance of avoiding war. I wish there were- but I honestly can’t imagine any way out of it now. The Left has gone full Communist.
