They do believe in science, just like they believe in the Constitution - selectively, when it produces a result that they think gives them either power over their opponents or, the real goal, power over the people of this country. Power is all that they crave, just as many characters in “The Lord of the Ring” craved possession of the One True Ring. Power is the Dem’s “my Precious!”
