“...At age 35 Mr. Cunningham, a captain and paratrooper in the U.S. Army Reserves, received the medal for exceptionally meritorious service to the United States as the senior trial counsel in the Office of the Staff Judge Advocate, Multi-National Corps-Iraq, at Camp Victory in Iraq from December 15, 2007 to November 19, 2008...”
Cal Cunningham received the Bronze Star for being a bad ass in a military courtroom in Iraq...
Doesn’t seem too smart now.
Unless the Bronze Star has the "V" for Valor, it's pretty much a Deployment Good Conduct medal for upper ranks
Joe Bidens son Beau whom he brags about also got a Bronze Star in Iraq - as a JAG (lawyer), not for valor (combat).
But Joe made him out to be a big hero when he was just writing wills and contracts.
What a complete mockery of real meritorious service. Like Bidens son Beau!?
