Former White House national security adviser Michael Flynn on Wednesday demanded in a new court filing that Judge Emmett Sullivan recuse himself from "further participation" in his case, citing an "appearance of bias," which his legal team cast as "terrifying and mandates disqualification."
In a filing on Wednesday, Flynn and his legal team argued that Sullivan “cast an intolerable cloud of partiality over his subsequent judicial conduct” and “risked undermining the public’s confidence in the judicial process.”
“[A]ll that must be demonstrated to compel recusal,’ then, is ‘a showing of an appearance of bias …sufficient to permit the average citizen reasonably to question a judge’s impartiality, ” the filing states.

Quit picking on Judge Sullivan, he was paid a lot of money to do a job and he is still trying to complete that job, He can’t just give back the Bribe Money.
Think we passed "appearance" a long time ago. More like "flat out obvious" and "You'd have to be freakin blind not to see it" bias. 😒

I would love to see this entire case dismissed but I have my doubts about getting this judge off the case.
Sydney Powell is a good attorney but she should have brought this motion to recuse a few weeks ago. It will only be granted by the Supreme Court and she is stuck right now filing it with the political DC Circuit Court of Appeals loaded with Dem judges who will deny it. Only then will she be able to appeal it to the Supreme Court who will grant the motion to recuse the low life Judge Sullivan
Mandatory for DC to retain even a glimmer of legitimacy as a lawful government.
I doubt Sidney is bluffing. She has info. She is giving the judge another opportunity to save his reputation..
The declassification going on today— has reached emmett sullivan—— through the judge Contreras recusal (from the Strozk Page confab emails and Mueller removing Strozk). These are exposed by the un redacting. Contreras and Sullivan discussed, Sullivan took the “hand off” for derp state money,and he will be “inspired” to dismiss. This motion is the kick in the a@@— the second one. A little bird will sing to him, and....he should dismiss as the en Banc DC District told him to resolve... with dispatch. He doesn’t and... he is frankly a goner, professionally speaking and in the public.
Because— he WAS paid—obviously.
I love Sidney. I just think D.C. is so infested with RATS making it nearly impossible.
Judge Emmett Sullivan is a democrat and as such is biased against Flynn. He is simply trying to keep this going until after the election so as to affect Trump’s chance of winning. Once the election is over, he’ll give up his resistance. Just watch!
