Well, now we know why they weren’t answering Jason Torchinsky’s emails...

If true, whazza mattah with Tesla not bothering to answer to to intellectual inferiors?
Were we all to follow this trend, none of us would EVAH have to talk to the media.
Except politicians and actors, of course.
They probably came to the conclusion that half of PR is effective they just dont know which half.
“... Technically becoming the first automaker who doesnt talk to the press.” You know, it’s a damned shame that there’s not a way of contacting the CEO of Tesla and asking him questions. You know, something like maybe an electronic letter or something... to NAsales@teslamotors.com. Shame journalists don’t know anything about search engines.
Now if only the MSM would shut down their PR departments. Because they aren’t news providers. Heck, just shut down all the MSM, totally not needed.
Isn’t this article PR?
Maybe they’re planning to contract out.
Now, if that were “HR”, Elon would really be onto something.
Elon is so far ahead of these idiots
Kind of funny - seems like I've read that Ford actually did something like that, when the Great Depression hit 90 years ago. Ford was the largest American auto maker at the time, and figured they would be Number One, with or without advertising. So they stopped running ads to save money - and General Motors passed 'em by...
;^)
the first automaker who doesnt talk
Companies are no who, they are that.
Companies do not talk. They are not alive.
The writer is an example of why companies eliminate their PR departments: Journalists dont know how to write.
Would it be fair to say their PR department crashed and burned?
;-)
They, and most companies, should abolish their HR department
That first picture...is that Brock Tessnar?
HR departments are dangerous!
Public Relations departments are often full of Leftists and are a huge liability for a company. Cautious companies have their legal department draft their press releases anyway.
