99% of those who get infected by the virus don't even show symptoms. They don't even realize they have been infected at all. They just carry on with their lives.

I agree. It does sound like a short period, but his symptoms were mild.
I’m 70 years old with no underlying conditions and just completed 14 days of COVID last Saturday. It’s one nasty bug for sure, but I never got it in my lungs. I just that relentless fever, muscle aches, headaches, skin aches, no sense of taste or smell, nausea and diarrhea. Obviously, my symptoms were NOT mild. The fever finally broke last Friday evening and I’ve not had any since. I’m still a tad weak today, but soooo much better and getting outside helps so much. Praying that he doesn’t overdo it too much until this thing has cleared.
But yeah; had it, got the antibodies and it’s now time to get on with life.
