I never attended any of the FR rallies at Walter Reed back in the day, always wished I could. I am glad great people at WR were taking care of Trump - good to know from someone with personal experience.

“I never attended any of the FR rallies at Walter Reed back in the day, “

I never did either. My kids were young but I regret it. BUT I did beep those too! LOL.

The only good thing about living in DC area is Walter Reed! The employees and the patients have my respect and a place in my heart.

The church group I work with at WR served lunch once a month on a Saturday til the Whu Flu shut us down. We would take the left overs to the front gate guys as we were leaving. The look on their face were priceless. They were so appreciative. Love that place.

Before that I volunteered on the amputation ward. Watched the faces of the new people. Total shock, (ripped my heart out) then the grads would strut in. Showing off their amputations and talking to the Newbies and then telling the Newbies “We gotta go. We’re going wind surfing on the Chesapeake, and next year you are coming with us!

It has been a blessing to spend time there.
