Joe Biden’s OTHER Questionable Chinese Concern and Involvement

The pandemic has created a constant stream of challenges for the studios regarding the releases of motion pictures. Theater closings and audience fears are only part of the problems, and Disney was not excluded from the anxiety. One example was the live-action remake of its animated title ‘’Mulan.’’ After moving its release date repeatedly the studio had to relent and instead offer the film for sale on its streaming platform, Disney+.

This was done to reach the audience stuck in our homes, but the quarantine also meant people had more time to research and read the news. Many learned that in the course of production in China’s Xinjiang region, Disney worked hand in hand with the Turpan Security Bureau. This is the authority long criticized over the treatment and incarcerations of the Muslim Uighurs, and it appears an American company was perfectly at ease working with this outfit. It becomes yet another example of U.S. studios willing to compromise values in order to have economic rewards in a nation drought with human rights abuses. This is commerce that, as Chris Dodd declared, has Joe Biden largely to thank for its presence.

Hollywood over the years has shown more than a willingness to alter its artistic content in order to curry favor with a communist regime, even resorting to censorship in order for films to gain approval. ‘’World War Z’’ is a lone example. The creators of the Bruce Willis sci-fi romp ‘’Looper’’ were willing to change its storyline from a paris-set plot line to one in China. This was because China rarely allows movies featuring time travel, for cultural reasons, but it would make this exception as long as the storyline featured China in a glowing fashion. So the filmmakers gained entry into the Chinese market by compromising their product into a form of agit-prop.

One of the most glaring examples was in a completed film completely altered to appease the communist dictatorship. When MGM completed its remake of ‘’Red Dawn,’’ it faced a massive problem. The new story had the U.S. invaded by Chinese troops, but no company was willing to distribute the film into theaters. Even though it was an MGM production no other company dared touch the title for fear of reprisals in China; anger the Chi-Coms and they could punish you not only with refusing to release the movie but by limiting commerce in any other economic sector a parent company might be involved within the country.

The end result is that now Hollywood is producing content for American audiences that has been passed through a communist filter. MGM had no other choice but to go back to its completed movie and digitally alter all the indications of Chinese involvement, changing every flag, uniform, and insignia to become the North Korean army. Like ‘’World War Z,’’ the film ‘’Red Dawn’’ was never released in China, but it was censored to avoid angering the Chinese leadership.

This cultural bastardization, abetted by Biden’s efforts, flowed in the other direction as well. Not long after that crucial meeting in 2012 that summer China’s Wanda Group purchased the largest motion picture exhibitor in the US, AMC Theaters for $2.6 billion. A number of Chinese companies have since purchased stakes in American entertainment companies. Wanda Group acquired Legendary Pictures as well as Dick Clark Productions for television, the distributor STX Films is owned in part by Tencent, which also bought into video games maker Riot Games. A private equity firm Sun Redrock Investment Group is a Chinese entity investing in major movie releases.

Joe Biden also had some personal involvement that should raise media criticisms. The year after his deal with Xi Jinping in Los Angeles he flew Air Force Two to Beijing. On board with the Vice President was his son, Hunter. As Peter Schweizer has detailed in the New York Post, after meeting with officials Biden’s company Rosemont Seneca struck a deal for over $1 billion with BHR, an equity firm backed by the Chinese government. Not unlike his tenure with Burisma Holdings in Ukraine, Hunter Biden was not known to have any private equity experience when the deal was made.

The striking aspect in all of this is how little criticism manages to be levelled at Joe Biden for these connections. Joe Biden has repeatedly denied he was involved in any fashion in Hunter’s Chinese dealings. Making the coincidental partnering with the Beijing trip more hard to digest is one BHR representative touting how Joe Biden was a presence. And one other connection in the scheme is found.

That Chinese investment fund Redrock has a Chinese partnering firm with which it has invested in movies, Harvest Alternative Investment Group. Harvest comprises the ‘’H’’ in BHR. So the entanglements for Joe Biden only become more knotted as his Hollywood connectivity looms larger, even as he claimed during the debate with President Trump that these items have been debunked.

A political leader in the country who looks for personal profits over national interests, who has struck deals with a communist nation, and has an established relationship with the leader of a hostile nation sure sounds familiar. If the name attached to this scenario is ‘’Trump’’ it leads to howling from the press claiming it to be a threat to our democracy. If the name is Joe Biden however the sound of crickets is almost deafening.

Thanks to Biden (aided and abetted by the Biden Crime Family Syndicate), Hollywood is
producing content for American audiences that has been passed through a communist filter.

And the money didn’t just go one way.

The Delaware Board of Trade was incorporated in 2013. Despite its name, the DBOT was not a government agency, but a penny stock startup which received a $3 million loan from New Castle County.

The big Chinese partner in the BHR arrangement was Harvest Fund Management which, coincidentally enough, in 2012 was targeting Hollywood with an $800 million investment fund. That same year, you could find Bruno Wu, who had been working with Harvest, and Chris Dodd, along with Harvey Weinstein, playing roles at the Asian Film Summit in Toronto. (Delaware is Joe Biden’s home state which he repped as a US Senator.)

New Castle County had approved the issue of $15 million in revenue bonds to fund the DBOT “stock exchange” by touting the “globally recognized leaders in the financial services industry” running it. DBOT’s founders included people with experience in stock exchanges and financial services, and Dennis Toner, who was described as a “top aide to Vice President Joe Biden.”

Toner, Biden’s deputy chief of staff, is in the news for denying that Tara Reade ever told him anything. Reade’s decision to tell Toner and Ted Kaufman was a pretty poor one. Both are longtime Biden men and considered as close to the boss as family. And they’ve reaped the benefits of that closeness.

After Obama won, Ted Kaufman was temporarily appointed to the Senate. If there was anything odd about appointing a Biden advisor to sit in the Senate, it became odder when Senator Kaufman delivered the opening statement in favor of Toner’s appointment as Post Office Governor, by vouching for his “loyalty” working for Joe Biden. Tara Reade might as well have taken her complaint to Biden, as to Toner and Kaufman.

The current New Castle County exec has since called DBOT’s founders criminals and threatened to sue after the company was disposed of as a “distressed asset” in exchange for shares of Ideanomics. Ideanomics is a Chinese crypto company trading as a penny stock and the software that served as collateral for the loan has been described as worthless. The chairman of Ideanomics is Wu.

The manager of DBOT-I LLC was listed as John Hynansky. The car dealer is a Biden pal with extensive Ukrainian ties who had lent Biden’s shady brother half a million dollars and had received $20 million in government loans to start a Porsche luxury car dealership in the Ukraine. Biden’s vaunted foreign policy expertise has consisted of brokering deals between family members, donors, and foreign interests. These deals haven’t been good for America, but they’ve worked out very well for members of his crooked family, as well as assorted donors, camp followers, and local boys.

But Biden's biggest deal was helping broker the Chinese takeover of the American entertainment industry. Xi’s visit to Los Angeles hit on all the right cultural notes. He schmoozed Hollywood bigwigs and their errand boys, like Dodd and Biden, he watched a Lakers game, and cheered Obama’s 100,000 Strong China initiative to have a hundred thousand American students study in the Communist dictatorship.

“I can say with confidence my visit has been a full success,” Xi declared.

In China, culture serves the agenda of the Communist government. Unlike the Russians, who struggled vainly to stem the impact of American culture, their Chinese counterparts decided to control it at the source. Biden was a key figure in negotiating the terms on which the PRC would control Hollywood.

In 1962, the Manchurian Candidate depicted an effort by Communists in China, Russia, and elsewhere to kidnap and brainwash American soldiers. The modern remake replaced the Communists with a corporation and the Chinese doctor with a South African geneticist. China could not be offended. While Biden, Katzenberg, and Xi were partying at the Marriot, human rights protesters were calling for freedom, and being arrested by the henchmen of a one-party Democrat city and state for their trouble.

Even while Biden was falsely claiming that the Hollywood sellout would improve human rights in China, the rise of China was already violating human rights in America. Now, as Chinese drones fly over American cities, police stalk empty streets, social media monopolies monitor every single phone, and Democrat officials dismiss the Bill of Rights while locking up millions of people, our rights are gone.

And Joe Biden is the Manchurian Candidate who long ago sold out the country he now seeks to rule.

Former US Senator Chris Dodd is Biden's best friend.......and is especially well-connected. After his Senate Swamp stint, in 2011 Dodd then went to Hollywood to become the Motion Picture Association of America chairman— Hollywood's top lobbyist — representing the six major studios.

WASHINGTON — When then-Vice President Joe Biden hosted Chinese leader Xi Jinping for a five-day diplomatic blitz in 2012, a Hollywood Democratic mega-donor kept popping up with them. There was Jeffrey Katzenberg, then the head of DreamWorks Animation, dining alongside Xi, the then-vice president of China, at a State Department welcome lunch in Washington. And there he was again, standing just behind Xi, then-Gov. Jerry Brown and then-Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa at a Lakers game in Los Angeles. And there was Katzenberg hanging out in a nearby hallway with Disney CEO Robert Iger to provide last-minute counsel as Biden closed a deal in which China committed to considerably expand its market for American films.

On the final day of Xi’s visit, Dreamworks announced Xi had signed off on the company’s own deal — the launching of Oriental DreamWorks, a $330-million joint venture with Chinese companies to develop and distribute animated films in China.

Several of the candidates vying for the Democratic presidential nomination have significant support in Hollywood — Katzenberg, for example, has kicked in $2,800 each to 14 of them already — but none has as long a history of delivering for the industry as Biden.

His deep ties to studio executives and decades-long advocacy for their agenda has helped cement Biden’s support even as it may also open him to criticism for too cozy a relationship with big donors.

Biden is returning to Hollywood this week for another round of fundraisers, including the second Biden event co-hosted by Katzenberg and leaders of several major studios. Biden’s first Southern California fundraiser, which Katzenberg co-hosted in May, netted more than $700,000 in one night.

“Joe was our champion inside the White House,” said former Sen. Christopher Dodd, who led the Motion Picture Assn. of America for much of the Obama era.

“There is no question about it. Even before Joe Biden decided to run, I would get calls and have conversation with the major studio figures, with them saying, ‘You tell Vice President Biden 100% we want him to run.’ This wasn’t waiting around to see who would do well in polls.”
