When he’s feeling up to it, he should do a short video, maybe 5 minutes, as an “update” and to let folks know that despite the situation, it’s “business as usual” as much as it it can be.

Do that, too, if he’s up to it. I’m thinking more of a short non-political fireside-type thing that can be easily and widely shared and is tailored for news use.
But the most important thing, at this point, is that he gets enough rest to beat back any potential severe symptoms.
